The Halloween season has sadly come to an end, but there were some exciting activities that girls of many ages could participate in such as Miss Happy Halloween Costume Pageant. Girls from the ages of 0-18 would submit a photo of their Halloween costume from the year 2021 or 2022. This contest was held over the month of October and pictures had to be submitted by October 28, 2022. Since the ages vary, there are five categories that can be placed.
The winner of the Toddler category is Adaline Abernathy, the Teeny category is Savvy Tyson, the Tiny category is Breelyn Bailey, the Little category Madison Ream, the Petite category is Kamlin Mullen, the Preteen category is Kate Robertson, Young Miss is Gabrielle Lattier, the Junior Miss category is Tyla Small, and Miss Happy Halloween is Taylor Smith. When speaking with Taylor Smith, she gave some insight on what inspired her costume. One of her favorite things about the Halloween season are the movies-specifically The Nightmare Before Christmas. The idea of her costume stemmed from the movie, so she dressed up as “The Nightmare Before the Pageant.” She is so grateful to have won.
