This past weekend, Northwood held our annual Taste Of Blanchard which is a national cooking competition where many cooks compete in different competitions such as the Chili cookoff, Ribs ,Steak ,Chicken ,and Wing competition. During the opening day of Taste Of Blanchard, our very own Northwood High School Barbeque Club competed in the High School division. The members include Beau Brandy, Terryon Jackson, and Danny Dearing. They placed 1st in ribs, brisket, and chicken earning them the title of Grand Champion.
While Taste of Blanchard was going on, there was a cornhole competition held in the old gym. There were many different categories of tournaments. The categories and winners are:
